Los Angeles Kings Officially Clinch Spot In 2023 NHL Playoffs

The Western Conference may have plenty of contenders for the final Wild Card spot, but as of the last few days, the playoff bracket has begun to take shape, and on Sunday, another contender clinched their spot in the 2023 NHL playoffs.

That would be the Los Angeles Kings, who currently find themselves in second place in the Pacific Division, just 1 point behind the Vegas Golden Knights and 1 point ahead of the Edmonton Oilers, so while their playoff spot is secure, their place within the division certainly isn't.

With a deep offensive group, a gritty defence and good goaltending, the Kings are a team that can certainly go deep, but how far they go will no doubt depend on their first round matchup. Either way, don't sleep on Los Angeles.
