Los Angeles Kings Rumors: 3 Offseason Trade Targets

Welcome to NHL Trade Rumors' Offseason Trade Targets series. During it, we will be discussing three players each team in the NHL should try to acquire through trade.

In this first piece for the series, we will be looking at the Los Angeles Kings.

Carter Hart: Carter Hart's name has come up in the rumor mill this season, and the Kings should make a serious push for him this summer because of it. Although they have found a solid goalie in Joonas Korpisalo, he is a pending UFA who could test free agency due to his excellent year. When noting that the Kings need a long-term number-one goaltender, look for them to be among the teams who call the Philadelphia Flyers about him.

Ivan Provorov: The Kings were heavily linked to fellow Flyer Ivan Provorov leading up to the deadline. It is easy to understand why, as the left side of their defensive group could use a boost. Although they landed Vladislav Gavrikov, he is likely to be only a rental, as he wants to test the free-agent market. As a result, don't be surprised if the Kings make a big push to land Provorov for their top four this offseason.

Yakov Trenin: The Nashville Predators made it known that they are retooling their roster at this year's deadline. As a result, Yakov Trenin is a player who we could see moved during the summer, as he was getting attention around the league before the deadline passed. With the Kings looking to add more grit to their bottom six, look for them to make a push for Trenin.
