Projecting The New York Rangers Playoff Starting Lineup

The New York Rangers have a fully healthy lineup, and even though they will be able to call some players up once the playoffs start to add some reinforcements, there's no reason to believe that the lineup they have been rolling with won't be the one the team will start the playoffs with.

Defensive pairings have been the same all season, so that shouldn't change at all ahead of the postseason. The forward lines have also been operating very well with the kid line as the Rangers' third line and the elite top-six mixed and matched. Though the top-six wingers are subject to slight change at times during the playoffs, I think the Rangers have found the chemistry that works the best. So now let's take a look at what the starting lineup should look like for the Rangers:

Chris Kreider - Mika Zianejad - Patrick Kane
Artmei Panarin - Vincent Trocheck - Vladimir Tarasenko
Alexis Lafreniere - Filip Chytil - Kaapo Kakko
Jimmy Vesey - Barclay Goodrow - Tyler Motte

Ryan Lindgren - Adam Fox
K'Andre Miller - Jacob Trouba
Niko Mikkola - Braden Schneider
