Nashville Predators & Columbus Blue Jackets Becoming Trading Candidates

The Nashville Predators are expected to have a busy summer as they continue to retool their roster. They are looking to strengthen their middle six, and they reportedly have Columbus Blue Jackets forward Jack Roslovic on their radar because of it.

Roslovic has been in the rumor mill for quite some time, but the Blue Jackets have yet to move. However, after their atrocious 2022-23 campaign, the Blue Jackets are ready to make changes, and Roslovic is emerging as one of their top trade candidates.

Roslovic had another solid season in 2022-23, as he had 11 goals to go along with 44 points in 77 games. Overall, he would provide the Predators with another playmaker on their second or third line, so he would have the potential to be a good addition. With that, he would also work quite well on their power play.

Roslovic carries a $4 million cap hit until the end of next season, so he also would not be too hard for the Predators to afford. We will need to wait and see if these two clubs strike a deal centering around him.
