NHL Rumors: 3 Teams Expected to Target Ryan Reaves This Offseason

Ryan Reaves is a pending UFA who should get some attention this offseason. Teams looking for toughness will certainly need to consider bringing in Reaves, as he is still one of the game's best players in that regard. As a result, let's go over three specific teams that are expected to make a push for the veteran winger.

Florida Panthers: The Florida Panthers were recently criticized by former NHL Keith Tkachuk for being too "soft." As a result, perhaps they could be a team that looks to bring in Reaves. He would give their fourth line plenty more toughness and make the Panthers far more difficult to play against.

Ottawa Senators: The Ottawa Senators are likely to consider bringing in Reaves this offseason. Austin Watson is a pending UFA, and Reaves would be a nice replacement for him. With the Senators looking to be a playoff team next year, it would not hurt to add more grit to their bottom six.

Nashville Predators: The Nashville Predators lost some toughness when they traded away Tanner Jeannot this offseason. Therefore, they could be in the mix for Reaves' services.
