Philadelphia Flyers Rumors: Forward Becoming Trade Candidate

Joel Farabee's name picked up some steam leading up to the 2023 NHL Trade Deadline after reports surfaced that he expressed frustration with the Philadelphia Flyers head coach John Tortorella. As a result of this and the Flyers gearing up for a legitimate rebuild, there are rumblings that the Flyers will listen to offers for Farabee during the summer.

Farabee noticeably struggled in 2022-23, as he had 15 goals and just 39 points in 82 games played. Although that is not bad production at all, it is certainly lower than what we have seen from him in the past. As a result, perhaps a change of scenery could be exactly what he needs to produce like a top-six forward again.

Farabee is a very skilled forward who should get a ton of attention on the trade market if he is officially made available. Some teams to pay attention to in the potential sweepstakes include the Detroit Red Wings, St. Louis Blues, Nashville Predators, Calgary Flames, and Seattle Kraken.

We will now need to wait and see what happens with Farabee from here.
