San Jose Sharks Rumors: Forward to be Shopped

The San Jose Sharks are expected to make several trades this offseason. They are rebuilding, after all, and one player who they are reportedly willing to hear offers for is winger Kevin Labanc.

Teams expressed interest in Labanc before the deadline passed this season, but a move never came to fruition. However, there is a good chance that things could change on that front during the summer, as teams will have more money available to work with due to expiring contracts.

While performing at his best level, Labanc is a serviceable middle-six winger who works well on the power play. As a result, teams looking for more secondary scoring could consider him as a decent trade target.

In 72 games this season for the Sharks, Labanc had 15 goals to go along with 33 points. Some teams who could make a push for him this offseason include the Winnipeg Jets, Nashville Predators, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Vegas Golden Knights.
