Seattle Kraken Rookie Scores First Ever Goal In Crucial Game 5 Victory

The Seattle Kraken in just their second season as a franchise have the Colorado Avalanche down 3-2 as the series shifts back to Seattle for Game 6, and there was a surprising contributor for the team in their critical Game 5 victory.

After the team lost Jared McCann for Game 5 following an injury suffered in their last game, the team called up Tye Kartye for his first career NHL game, and in a massive move, he ended up scoring in his first career game.

This was a fantastic moment for a young, deep Kraken team that are full of great stories, and as they move into the future and look to find playoff success, Kartye may get yet another chance to prove that he can contribute going forward.
