St. Louis Blues Rumors: 3 Potential Landing Spots for Colton Parayko

Before the trade deadline passed, St. Louis Blues defenseman Colton Parayko became a major name in the rumor mill. Although the Blues listened to offers for him, a deal did not occur. However, with teams having more salary cap available during the offseason, things could change on that front this summer if he's willing to waive his full no-trade clause. Let's discuss three potential landing spots for him now.

Ottawa Senators: The Ottawa Senators were linked to Parayko before the deadline passed, and it seems possible that they could make a push for him this offseason as well. After all, they are a team on the rise that needs a top-four right-shot defenseman. Therefore, it would not be surprising in the slightest if they tried to add him.

Edmonton Oilers: The Edmonton Oilers were also reportedly in on the Parayko sweepstakes this season, and they could try to acquire him this offseason because of it. Although they would need to move out salary to make this possible, there is no question that it is an avenue worth exploring when noting that the right side of their defense could use a boost.

Buffalo Sabres: The Buffalo Sabres are another team in the Atlantic Division that is showing great signs of improvement. Yet, they need a top-four shutdown defenseman to help them become a legitimate playoff team, so Parayko could surely be a target for them this offseason.
