Vegas Golden Knights Rumors: 3 Free Agents to Target This Offseason

Welcome to NHL Trade Rumors' 2023 Free-Agent Targets series. During it, we will be discussing three pending unrestricted free agents that each team should aim to sign.

In this latest episode, we will be looking at the Vegas Golden Knights.

Jonathan Drouin: Jonathan Drouin needs a change of scenery, and he is likely to be let go by the Montreal Canadiens this summer because of it. The Golden Knights could use another middle-six forward, and Drouin can be just that while performing at his best. In 52 games this season, the 28-year-old left winger/center has two goals and 26 assists.

Kyle Okposo: If Kyle Okposo hits the free-agent market, he would be a good addition to the Golden Knights' bottom six. The veteran winger is continuing to produce solid secondary scoring, as he has 10 goals and 25 points in 67 games with the Buffalo Sabres. If he can be signed at a cheap cap hit, the Golden Knights should bring him in for his experience and leadership.

Lars Eller: The Golden Knights have a handful of bottom-six forwards set to hit the free-agent market this summer, so another player who could make sense for them is Lars Eller. He would provide them with more center depth and plays a steady two-way game, so he would be a decent addition to their current group.
