Wild Superstar Set To Return To Action

The Minnesota Wild will finally be getting back their best player, Kirill Kaprizov, from the injured reserve as they have been without him for 13 games. He will play in their game on Saturday, April 8 against the St. Louis Blues. This hasn't slowed the dominance of the team down though as many have stepped up and they are in a heated battle for first in the division with the Colorado Avalanche and Dallas Stars.

Kaprizov still leads all players on his team by nine goals (39) and seven points (74) in 65 games and his importance to the team is further emphasized with his average time on ice for a winger (21:06).

During the month that Karpizov missed, Matt Boldy leads the team with 13 goals and 19 points while four other players have scored four goals over the past month (Frederick Gaudreau, Ryan Hartman, Marcus Johansson, and Ryan Reaves). Not only have their trade deadline additions of Johansson, Oskar Sundqvist, and John Klingberg been great for them, Kaprizov returns at a key time as Joel Eriksson Ek just got injured.

Kaprizov will have a few games to get back up to speed before he will be needed if the Wild are to finally advance out of the first round this season.
