Flyers Rumors: 2 Teams Out on Carter Hart Trade

The Philadelphia Flyers are listening to trade offers on goaltender Carter Hart. It's been tough sledding these past few seasons for the one-time 'goalie of the future' in Philly and expect to see more drastic changes coming to the roster. General manager Daniel Briere has been busy listening to trade offers for Hart, but by the sounds of it, two teams have already decided to walk away.

Don't expect to see Hart dealt to either the Toronto Maple Leafs or Edmonton Oilers. Both teams inquired on a price tag and what the Flyers were looking for in return, but talks went nowhere fast.

The Oilers are committed to Stuart Skinner and Jack Campbell, meanwhile the Maple Leafs are likely rolling with Ilya Samsonov and Joseph Woll next season. They continue to talk trade on Matt Murray as well.

Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman suggested the Buffalo Sabres or San Jose Sharks make the most sense for Hart. The Montreal Canadiens were also linked recently as they continue to search for their goalie of the future.

As for the Flyers, they continue to revamp their roster and look for ways to build a new culture in Philly. Briere recently mentioned some players aren't cut out to be 'Flyers' and it appears Hart's name made the list.
