Philadelphia Flyers Rumors: 3 Potential Landing Spots for Travis Konecny

The rebuild has officially begun in Philadelphia, as the Flyers traded Ivan Provorov to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday (June 6). Carter Hart is also expected to be moved shortly, so it is clear that the Flyers are beginning a new chapter. As a result, Travis Konecny is another notable name who could be dealt this summer. Let's discuss three possible landing spots for the star forward.

Detroit Red Wings: The Red Wings are expected to bring in a top-six forward this offseason. They specifically need help on the wings, and Konecny would of course provide them with just that. He would be an ideal fit on their top line and be a major contributor to both their power play and penalty kill.

St. Louis Blues: The St. Louis Blues are ready to bounce back from a horrid 2022-23 season that saw them miss the playoffs. After trading Vladimir Tarasenko and Ryan O'Reilly at the deadline, they need more star power, so look for them to be in the mix for Konecny's services this offseason.

Calgary Flames: The Calgary Flames need to improve their offense if they hope to be a bigger threat in 2023-24. As a result, a player like Konecny could certainly grab their attention. He would be a major addition to their top six and could be the boost they need to get back into the postseason next year.
