2 Detroit Red Wings Who Could Be Traded Before 2023-24 Season

Now that the busiest part of free agency is over, trade talk is starting to pick up again. As a result, this series will go over two players from each team who could be traded before the start of the 2023-24 season.

In this latest edition of the series, we will be focusing on the Detroit Red Wings.

Robby Fabbri: After another busy offseason, the Red Wings have a surplus of forwards. Due to this, one player who we could see on the move is Robby Fabbri. The 27-year-old's role heading into the campaign is unclear because of their many new additions. Furthermore, he was also limited to just 28 games this past season due to injury, posting 16 points.

Cross Hanas: The Red Wings have the cap space to make another notable addition before the summer is over, and it could lead to them trading away a prospect like Cross Hanas. The 6-foot-1 winger has the tools to become a solid middle-six forward at the NHL level later down the road, and teams should be interested in him because of it. In 30 games this past season with the Grand Rapids Griffins, the gritty forward had nine goals and 17 points.
