Sharks Rumors: 2 Forwards Listed as Trade Candidates

In a recent article for The Fourth Period, NHL insider David Pagnotta wrote that Kevin Labanc and Anthony Duclair are two forwards who could be moved between now and the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline.

Labanc is no stranger to trade rumors, as the Sharks have listened to offers for him for quite some time. As a result of this, it would not be surprising in the slightest to see the winger moved. While playing at his best, he can be a solid middle-six forward, so it would not be surprising if he generates interest, especially near the deadline.

Duclair, on the other hand, was acquired by the Sharks earlier this summer in a cap dump move. With the Sharks rebuilding and Duclair entering the final year of his current deal, he stands out as a prime rental candidate. Like Labanc, he is a nice middle-six forward who several clubs would love to have.

We will need to wait and see if either of these forwards get dealt this season from here.
