Predators Rumors: Dante Fabbro Standing Out as Trade Candidate

According to David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, Dante Fabbro is a player to pay attention to this season when it comes to trade talk.
Pagnotta reported that the Predators listened to offers for Fabbro before last season's trade deadline and considered moving him at the beginning of the offseason. Although a move did not come to fruition at either point, things could certainly change on that front.

The Predators have four NHL-caliber defensemen heading into the season with Fabbro, Alexandre Carrier, Tyson Barrie, and free-agent signing Luke Schenn. Thus, there is room to one of them to improve their roster elsewhere, and Fabbro could net them a decent return.

It will be intriguing to see what the Predators decide to do with Fabbro from here. Teams are always on the hunt for right-shot defensemen, and Fabbro being a former first-round pick also helps heighten his appeal.
