Bruins: 3 Top Trade Candidates Heading Into 2024

Christmas is over, and now the new year is less than one week away. Thus, over these next few days, we here at NHL Trade Rumors will discuss the three top trade candidates from each team heading into 2024.

In this latest edition of the series, let's focus on the Boston Bruins.

Matt Grzelcyk: Matt Grzelcyk is one roster player on the Bruins to watch in trade talks. He is in a contract year and has been immensely underwhelming so far, posting just one goal in 20 games. The Bruins will be looking to free up cap space to address their other needs, so Grzelcyk would make sense to move.

Jake DeBrusk: Speaking of underwhelming contract years, Jake DeBrusk has underperformed this season. Due to this, his stay in Boston past this season is certainly not guaranteed, and the Bruins could use him to strengthen their roster down the middle or on the blue line.

Fabian Lysell: Fabian Lysell is a Bruins top prospect who could be dealt this season. His development has not gone too well thus far, and that could be enough of a red flag for Boston to consider dealing him for immediate help.
