Ducks Rumors: Adam Henrique Linked to Central Division Team

After an impressive start to the season, the Anaheim Ducks are falling back down to Earth. They have lost eight games in a row and now sport a 9-14-0 record. Selling season is on its way again for the rebuilding Ducks, and Adam Henrique is one player expected to be moved. Per NHL insider Frank Seravalli, the Dallas Stars are one of the teams currently interested in the veteran forward.

Hearing that the Stars are looking to add Henrique is not particularly surprising. Their top nine could use a boost, and they also could use another veteran with plenty of experience. Because of this, Henrique looks like a nice fit on paper. This is especially so if the Ducks help retain salary in a potential trade.

Henrique will only continue to generate interest as the season rolls on, however. He is a consistent 20-goal threat, plays a steady two-game, and is praised for his leadership qualities. Due to this, expect many other playoff teams to look to add him, too.

We will need to wait and see if the Stars end up being the lucky club to land him from here.
