Kraken: 3 Top Trade Candidates Heading Into 2024

Christmas is over, and now the new year is less than one week away. Thus, over these next few days, we here at NHL Trade Rumors will discuss the three top trade candidates from each team heading into 2024.

In this latest edition of the series, we will be focusing on the Seattle Kraken. The Kraken are having a tough season, and the expectation is that they will be sellers during the new year because of it. As a result, let's now go over their top trade targets.

Jordan Eberle: Jordan Eberle will be a player who generates a ton of interest at the deadline. He is on an expiring contract and would be a big-time addition to a playoff team's top six if acquired. He is still a productive player at this stage of his career, and he should receive interest from clubs in need of some help at right wing.

Alexander Wennberg: Alexander Wennberg should be another popular trade target as we get closer to the deadline. He is on an expiring deal, has a good amount of experience, and would work nicely on the third line for a playoff team. Because of this, he is surely a player to watch very closely over these next few months.

Justin Schultz: Justin Schultz will also be a player to watch during the new year in trade talk. He is on an expiring contract and should get interest from teams looking to improve the right side of their defense and power play. He can still produce decent numbers from the point, so there will be interest there.
