Ottawa Senators Captain Brady Tkachuk Admits 'This Isn't Fun Right Now'

The Ottawa Senators sit dead last in the Eastern Conference and only one point out of last in the entire NHL. The Sens made a flurry of moves in the offseason and were supposed to be a playoff team this season, however things have gone off the rails and it appears the misery isn't ending any time soon.

A new GM, an interim coach and an owner who is not happy about how things have played out in his first season. You can now add captain Brady Tkachuk to the misery list as Tkachuk recently admitted nobody is having much fun around the Senators right now:

It's hard to look at positives right now. It's a pretty shitty feeling, and I don't think I've felt worse in my life. This is not fun right now. At the end of the day, it starts with me as a leader. Individually, I'm not there and playing the way I need to be playing. … I've got to find a way to do a better job and help this team win.

Tkachuk has 21 points on the season in 28 games for the Senators this season who are now becoming subject to a ton of trade rumors involving the likes of Jakob Chychrun and Vladimir Tarasenko.
