St. Louis Blues Forward NOT Placed On Waivers

Earlier today (Dec. 11), reports surfaced that St. Louis Blues forward Jakub Vrana would be placed on waivers. However, once 2 p.m. ET came, he did not hit the waiver wire.

Jeremy Rutherford, who first reported Vrana's expected waiver wire placement, explained that Vrana's agent, JP Barry, told him that Vrana was informed that he would be placed on waivers. However, things have changed, and now we will need to keep an eye out for what roster move is next for Vrana.

While there is no denying Vrana's skill, the 27-year-old winger has had a brutal start to the 2023-24 season. In 19 games played, he has two goals, four assists, and a minus-5 rating. With that, he also has gone pointless in seven straight games for the Blues.

Vrana showed promise last season with the Blues, as he had 10 goals and four assists in 20 games following his trade there from the Detroit Red Wings. However, this offensive play has not carried over to this season.

We will need to wait and see if Vrana gets moved from here.
