Video: Bruins' David Pastrnak Ejected vs Rangers for Hit From Behind

Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak is going to be hearing from the NHL's Department of Player Safety on Sunday after laying out New York Rangers defenseman Ryan Lindgren with a nasty hit from behind on Saturday night.

Pasta was given a five-minute major penalty for boarding and a game misconduct and now at least a fine is coming, potentially a suspensions. Lindgren was blooded from the mayhem, but was able to stay in the game as he's one of the toughest blueliners in the league, who also happens to be getting hammered a lot lately.

While most people around hockey have confirmed their feelings that the major penalty was warranted, Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery didn't agree with the assessment and said after the game he was very surprised it was a major and he thought it was worthy of just a two-minute minor.

You be the judge...
