Wild Receive Bad Mats Zuccarello Injury News

The Minnesota Wild have been bit by the injury bug, as forward Mats Zuccarello will be out week-to-week due to an upper-body injury.

This is certainly bad news for the Wild, as they are currently trying to jump up in the standings, and Zuccarello has been their most productive player this season. He has a team-leading 28 points in 28 games played. Losing that kind of production is certainly not helpful for the Wild, but they will now need to adjust without him in the lineup.

The Wild are going to have to make some lineup changes with Zuccarello out of their lineup, too. He is an extremely important part of their top six and power play, so other players will now need to step up in his absence.

We will now need to wait and see how much time Zuccarello misses from here.
