Blackhawks Rumors: 3 Teams Expected to Target Jason Dickinson

The Chicago Blackhawks are in the middle of a big rebuild, so they are, understandably, set to be among the NHL's top sellers at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline. Forward Jason Dickinson is one player who is starting to pick up steam as a trade candidate, as he is having a strong season and is on an expiring contract. Interest in his services should be high because of this, so let's discuss three specific teams who are expected to target him over these next several weeks leading up to the deadline.

Washington Capitals: The Washington Capitals have been looking at centers in the trade market, and it would not be surprising at all if Dickinson has been on their radar. He would be a nice addition to their third line and would also work quite well on their penalty kill because of his solid defensive play.

Boston Bruins: It has been confirmed that the Boston Bruins are looking for middle-six forwards right now, and Dickinson has fit that description this season. He has 14 goals to go along with 21 points in 42 games, and the Bruins could use some of that production in the bottom half of their lineup.

New York Rangers: The New York Rangers will likely look to add a center at the deadline, too, as Filip Chytil's concussion troubles have yet to get better. Dickinson could be a nice option for the 3C role in New York, so don't be surprised if they aim to add him at the deadline.
