Blue Jackets' Vincent Provides Injury Update for Sean Kuraly

While speaking with reporters, Columbus Blue Jackets head coach Pascal Vincent shared that forward Sean Kuraly will likely be out for another two weeks.

Kuraly suffered a frightening injury against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Dec. 23, as he injured his chest and recently informed reporters that he was "struggling to breathe" before being transported to the hospital. The game was also stopped due to the situation.

Kuraly, 30, has become a key part of the Blue Jackets' bottom six, as he is an important penalty killer who plays a physical game and chips in offensively in the process. In 35 games this season with the Blue Jackets, the Ohio native has six goals, five assists, and 74 hits. He is also one of their biggest leaders, as he is an alternate captain for the club.

While Kuraly's tests came back negative for any serious internal injuries, he naturally still has some recovering to do before he can step back onto the ice.

We will need to wait and see how Kuraly's recovery process goes from here. Here's to hoping that he suffers no setbacks and is greeted with an ovation from the Blue Jackets faithful once he is back in game action.
