Flames Rumors: Insider Names 5 Possible Suitors for Elias Lindholm

Calgary Flames center Elias Lindholm is one of the top trade targets heading into the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline. It is completely understandable, as he is a pending UFA, and the Flames are going to want to get something for him instead of losing him for nothing during the summer. There have been several rumors surrounding him because of it, and now NHL insider Frank Seravalli has listed five potential suitors for him.

Seravalli views the Boston Bruins, Colorado Avalanche, Vancouver Canucks, Vegas Golden Knights, and Winnipeg Jets as five teams who could make a push to land Lindholm over these next several weeks. The Bruins, Avalanche, and Jets have been connected to him for quite some time, but the Canucks and Golden Knights are new teams to watch.

The Canucks have made it known that they want to add a top-six center, and Lindholm, of course, fits that description. The Golden Knights, on the other hand, have struggled over these last several weeks and are in a position to make some changes because of it.

As for the Bruins, Avs, and Jets, they need help down the middle, so they are going to very likely be in the mix until Lindholm finds his next destination.

We will now need to wait and see if any of these five teams end up landing Lindholm before the trade deadline passes from here.
