NHL Rumors: Panthers & Sabres Becoming Possible Trade Partners

The Florida Panthers are one of the best teams in the NHL, and they are set to be buyers at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline because of it. One area that they will be aiming to improve is their bottom six, and they have some decent trade targets to consider.

One winger who they are likely to take a look at over these next few weeks includes Buffalo Sabres forward Jordan Greenway. After being added by the Sabres at last season's deadline, the power forward is once again picking up steam in the rumor mill and could be a big addition to the Panthers' roster.

It is not a secret that the Panthers love to have heavy-hitting forwards on their roster, and Greenway would give them just that. He also would be a nice addition to their third line, and this is especially so if he starts to heat up following a move.

In 35 games this season with the Sabres, Greenway has five goals, 13 points, and a plus-8 rating. Overall, it has been a down season for him offensively, but joining a team with better forward options to work with, like the Panthers, could help improve his production

We will now need to wait and see if the Sabres and Panthers strike a deal before the deadline passes from here.
