Flyers Rumors: 3 Potential Landing Spots for Scott Laughton

The Philadelphia Flyers are having a strong 2023-24 season, but their plan is still to be sellers at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline. Some players who have been generating a lot of chatter in the rumor mill include Sean Walker, Morgan Frost, and Nick Seeler. However, it has also been reported that the Flyers are now willing to hear offers for Scott Laughton. Because of this, let's discuss three potential landing spots for him.

Edmonton Oilers: The Oilers have had interest in Laughton in the past, and they very well could look to bring him in again before the deadline. He would be an awesome fit in their middle six, and he would also be a clear candidate to receive time on their penalty kill. The Oilers are also looking to add to their forward group, so they are a team to watch with Laughton.

Toronto Maple Leafs: The Maple Leafs could look to bring in a third-line center before the deadline. Because of this and their need for a bit more grit in their lineup for the playoffs, bringing in a player like Laughton could make sense for them. He would also give them a high-impact two-way forward in their bottom six.

Detroit Red Wings: The Red Wings are another team to pay attention to when it comes to Laughton. It is clear that they could use a defensively reliable forward on their roster before the deadline passes. This is especially so if they hope to secure a playoff spot in the tight Eastern Conference.
