Canucks Rumors: 3 Possible Offseason Suitors for Elias Lindholm

Vancouver Canucks forward Elias Lindholm is one of the top pending UFAs who could hit the market this offseason. When noting that he has struggled to find his game since being dealt to the Canucks, there is a chance that he won't be back with them beyond this season. Thus, let's go over three teams who are likely to target him if he hits the free-agent market now.

Boston Bruins: It is not a secret that the Boston Bruins love Elias Lindholm. They tried to acquire him since this past offseason, and that remained the case even after he was dealt to the Canucks. They need help down the middle big time, and Lindholm would give them that.

Columbus Blue Jackets: The Columbus Blue Jackets were connected to Lindholm this season. Although they are among the worst teams in the NHL, they are looking to be competitive and could be a dark horse landing spot for Lindholm. Remember, he worked especially well with Johnny Gaudreau on his line.

Carolina Hurricanes: The Carolina Hurricanes were among the teams who tried to add Lindholm this season. If he hits the market, there is a good chance that they will look at him because of it. Their center depth could use a boost, and he would give them. With that, they know the player well, as he started his career there.
