Bruins Rumors: 3 Possible Offseason Suitors for Jake DeBrusk

The Boston Bruins have a big decision to make with Jake DeBrusk. The 2015 first-round pick is on an expiring deal and can hit the open market this summer because of it. He has been heating up as of late, so that could help his chances of earning an extension. However, if the Bruins decide to part ways with him, expect these three teams to be in the mix for his services.

Edmonton Oilers: The Edmonton Oilers have long been linked to DeBrusk. It is understandable, as he is an Edmonton native, and his father, Louie, played and now is a commentator for the team. The Oilers could also be on the hunt for help in their top six this summer, so there could be a good match here.

Calgary Flames: The Calgary Flames could also be among the teams interested in DeBrusk this offseason if he hits the free-agent market. After selling off many of their assets, the expectation is that they are going to look to add to their roster this summer. Their top six needs help, and DeBrusk would give them just that.

Pittsburgh Penguins: The Pittsburgh Penguins should be looking to add a top-six winger to their roster after trading away Jake Guentzel. DeBrusk could be a great fit in their lineup, as he is a smart offensive player and could see his production go up playing on a line with Sidney Crosby.
