Panthers Rumors: 3 Offseason Suitors for Sam Reinhart

Florida Panthers star forward Sam Reinhart is the top free agent heading into the 2024 NHL Offseason. He is having a career year, posting 48 goals and 79 points in 69 games. He is setting himself up for a big payday, and the Florida Panthers are surely going to look to extend him. However, if they can't get him signed and he hits the market, these three clubs are likely to target him.

Detroit Red Wings: The Detroit Red Wings have taken a major step forward this season and have a good shot of making the playoffs because of it. However, while they are improving, they also could use another big-time star in their top six. Because of this, Reinhart could absolutely end up being a player they target this summer.

Nashville Predators: The Nashville Predators are ending the season on a real heater and have put themselves in a comfortable playoff spot because of it. They have taken a big step forward in their retool this season and could look to make some major additions this summer. Because of this and their need for more stars, they could be in the mix for Reinhart.

Seattle Kraken: The Seattle Kraken have had a tough 2023-24 season. A big reason for that has been their underwhelming offense. They need a star sniper in their lineup, and bringing in a player like Reinhart would give them just that. He could work beautifully on a line with youngster Matty Beniers.
