Devils Rumors: 3 Free Agents to Target This Offseason

Welcome to NHL Trade Rumors' 2024 Free-Agent Targets series. During it, we will be discussing three pending unrestricted free agents that each team should aim to sign.

In this latest edition of the series, we will be looking at the New Jersey Devils. It has been a tough year for the Devils, so they should be looking to add to their group.

Cam Talbot: If the Devils are unable to bring in a big-name talent to their roster through the trade market this offseason, they should look to sign Cam Talbot. The veteran netminder has had a solid season with the Los Angeles Kings and could form a strong 1A/1B tandem with Jake Allen. He has a .918 SV% and 2.43 GAA in 43 games this season.

Joel Edmundson: The Devils would be wise to add a hard-hitting left-shot defenseman to their roster this summer. Because of this, Joel Edmundson could be a decent addition to their group. He would work on their bottom pairing and give them another option for their penalty kill if signed.

Teddy Blueger: The Devils are likely to look to add to their bottom six this offseason. Teddy Blueger would be a good addition to their group, as he would provide them with more secondary scoring and overall depth. With that, he would be a strong addition to their penalty kill.
