Kraken Rumors: Jordan Eberle Connected to Hurricanes

The Carolina Hurricanes are looking to boost up their forward group before the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline passes. While the Hurricanes are among the top teams in the NHL, there is no question that they would benefit by adding more scoring to their group before the playoffs are here.

Because of this, the Hurricanes have been connected to many forwards over the last few weeks. Yet, it appears that they have a new winger on their radar, as they are now being linked to Seattle Kraken forward Jordan Eberle.

There is a bigger expectation that the Kraken will sell off some of their pending unrestricted free agents, given their placement in the standings. As a result, if the Kraken and Eberle do not have an extension in place before the deadline is here, there will be a good shot that he will get dealt.

If the Hurricanes acquired Eberle, he would be a welcomed addition to their top six for the final portion of the season. Along with that, he would also provide a big boost to their power play. This is because he is a high-impact sniper when playing at his best, and the Canes would benefit by adding a player like him because of it.

We will need to wait and see if the Hurricanes' interest in Eberle leads to the veteran winger heading to Carolina before the trade deadline passes from here.
