Oilers Rumors: 3 Offseason Suitors for Adam Henrique

Adam Henrique has had a solid 2023-24 season and is setting himself up for a decent payday for his next contract because of it. The Edmonton Oilers are reportedly open to signing him to an extension, but if they cannot get a deal done, expect these three teams to look to add him in free agency this offseason.

New York Rangers: The New York Rangers were heavily linked to Henrique leading up to the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline. There is no question that they could use a versatile veteran forward like him in their middle six, so it would not be surprising if they looked to sign him in free agency during the offseason.

New Jersey Devils: The New Jersey Devils are another notable team to watch when it comes to Henrique. They were interested in a reunion with him before his move to the Oilers. When noting that he would be a great addition to their second line or third line, it would not be shocking if they looked at him during the summer.

Nashville Predators: The Nashville Predators are likely going to try to add to their forward group this offseason. Henrique would certainly give them a boost, as he would provide them with more secondary scoring and overall leadership if signed.
