Oilers Rumors: 3 Offseason Suitors for Warren Foegele

Edmonton Oilers forward Warren Foegele is having a strong season. It is coming at the right time, as he is a pending unrestricted free agent and is setting himself up for a raise because of it. It is likely that the Oilers will try to get him signed, but if they cannot get a deal done, expect these three teams to target him if he hits the market.

Montreal Canadiens: The Montreal Canadiens have already been viewed as a possible landing spot for Foegele. It makes sense, as they are looking to take that next step in their rebuild, and Foegele is still young enough where he would be impactful for multiple more seasons.

Ottawa Senators: The Ottawa Senators could use a bit more grit but also skill in their top nine, so Foegele could be a strong addition to their roster. He would fit well on their power play as well due to his strong net-front presence ability.

Calgary Flames: The Calgary Flames are likely to be in the hunt for forward help this offseason. While they traded many players at the deadline, their goal is to become a playoff team again as soon as possible and to avoid a rebuild. A hard-hitting forward like Foegele could grab their attention because of it.
