Avalanche Rumors: 3 Offseason Suitors for Sean Walker

After a rough end to his tenure with the Los Angeles Kings, Sean Walker has bounced back nicely this season. He has shown that he is still a solid defenseman who plays steady defensively and chips in offensively. Because of this, if the Colorado Avalanche are unable to get him signed to a new deal before free agency, he should get a lot of interest if he hits the market. Let's go over three specific teams who could look to add him now.

Buffalo Sabres: The Buffalo Sabres could look to add a player like Walker during this offseason. It is not a secret that the right side of their defense could use a boost, and Walker would give them just that. He would work nicely in their top four and would be an option for both of their special team units.

Ottawa Senators: The Ottawa Senators will be looking to improve their roster during the offseason. It has been another disappointing year for them, and one reason for that has been their shaky defense. The right side of their defense specifically needs improvement, so don't be surprised if they target him.

Toronto Maple Leafs: The Toronto Maple Leafs were one of the many teams connected to Walker before his trade to the Avalanche. Bringing in help on the right side of their defense is a major necessity for the Leafs, and Walker is one of the top players who could hit the market.
