Blues Rumors: 3 Possible Landing Spots for Pavel Buchnevich

St. Louis Blues forward Pavel Buchnevich was one of the most notable names in the rumor leading up to the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline. The Blues opted not to move him at the deadline, but that could very well change during the offseason. Next season is the final year of his deal, and they could look to trade him instead of running the risk of losing him for nothing during the following summer. Thus, let's go over three possible landing spots for the star.

New York Rangers: The New York Rangers were heavily linked to Buchnevich leading up to the deadline. It is clear that they recognize that they made a mistake trading him a few years back, and they could look to make up for it during the summer. He would give them a much-needed top-six scorer on the wing.

Washington Capitals: The Washington Capitals are likely going to try to improve their roster during the offseason. Their top six could use some more scoring and overall skill, so Buchnevich could be the kind of player that they look at. He could work wonders on a line with superstar forward Alex Ovechkin.

Ottawa Senators: The Ottawa Senators had a poor 2023-24 season, and changes to their group will occur during the summer. It is without question that they need help in their top six, so they could certainly be in the mix for Buchnevich during the offseason.
