Canucks Rumors: 3 Offseason Suitors for Nikita Zadorov

Nikita Zadorov is one of the most notable pending UFA defensemen who can hit the market in July. If the Vancouver Canucks elect not to bring him back, there is no question that he would generate interest, as he is a big-bodied defensive defenseman who plays a heavy game. Because of this, let's discuss three teams who could look to add him this offseason.

Boston Bruins: The Boston Bruins were linked to Zadorov before he was traded to the Canucks from the Calgary Flames. With Derek Forbort having an expiring deal, the Bruins will need a hard-nosed defenseman with size. Thus, Boston will very likely keep Zadorov on their radar.

Toronto Maple Leafs: The Toronto Maple Leafs also had a confirmed interest in Zadorov leading up to the deadline. If signed by Toronto, he would be a nice addition to their top four and work beautifully on their penalty kill. He would also simply make them far more difficult to go up against.

Los Angeles Kings: The Los Angeles Kings are a team to pay attention to when it comes to Zadorov. They certainly could use more depth on the left side of their defense, and adding Zadorov would make it better. He also would give the Kings' penalty kill a big boost if signed.
