Panthers Rumors: 3 Potential Landing Spots for Anthony Stolarz

Florida Panthers goalie Anthony Stolarz has been a nice feel-good story this campaign. The 30-year-old has been excellent as a backup for the Cats, as he has a 15-7-2 record, a .926 SV%, and a 2.03 GAA. Because of his strong season, there should be interest in him if he hits the free agent market. Let's discuss three teams that could target him now because of it.

Los Angeles Kings: The Los Angeles Kings are likely going to try to improve their goaltending this offseason. While Stolarz would not be the answer for their starting goalie job, he would certainly give them a nice upgrade over Phoenix Copley and David Rittich as their backup netminder.

San Jose Sharks: The San Jose Sharks could look to add a goalie this offseason. While they are rebuilding, it would not hurt to bring in a goalie with experience like Stolarz. He would work nicely as their starter or 1B goalie if signed.

Dallas Stars: The Dallas Stars could look to bring in a new backup this offseason. Scott Wedgewood is a pending UFA and has had a bit of an underwhelming 2023-24 season. As a result, adding Stolarz would give Dallas a bit of an upgrade as their backup.
