Ducks Rumors: 3 Free Agents to Target This Summer

Welcome to NHL Trade Rumors' 2024 Free-Agent Targets series. During it, we will be discussing three pending unrestricted free agents that each team should aim to sign.

In this latest edition of the series, we will be taking a look at the Anaheim Ducks.

Jakub Vrana: The Ducks are unlikely to be big-time buyers this offseason. However, that does not mean that they should not bring talent in. One player who could be an intriguing player to take a shot on is Jakub Vrana. He's had a tough year with the St. Louis Blues but has had some strong seasons not too long ago. Perhaps Anaheim could take a shot on him with a one-year deal.

Matt Grzelcyk: The Ducks should look to improve their defense a bit this offseason. One player who could make sense for them because of this is Matt Grzelcyk. He could fit into their top four if signed and would be a good mentor for their younger defenders.

Alexandre Carrier: The Ducks would also be wise to add a right-shot defenseman to their group this offseason. Alexandre Carrier is an interesting player and could fit into their system. With that, he is only 27 years old, so he could be impactful for them for multiple seasons.
