Flames Rumors: 3 Free Agents to Target This Summer

Welcome to NHL Trade Rumors' 2024 Free-Agent Targets series. During it, we will be discussing three pending unrestricted free agents that each team should aim to sign.

In this latest edition of the series, we will be focusing on the Calgary Flames.

Jake DeBrusk: The Flames are likely to try to add to their top six this offseason. There's no question that they could use a scoring winger, so Jake DeBrusk is one player who they could look to add. He would give their top six a boost and also be a nice addition to their power play if signed.

Brady Skjei: The Flames traded away Noah Hanifin, Nikita Zadorov, and Chris Tanev this season. Because of this, it's clear that they will look to add to their blue line this offseason. Brady Skjei is one of the top defensemen who can hit the market, and he would be a nice replacement for Hanifin in their top four if signed.

Matt Dumba: Bringing in a right-shot defenseman should be one of the Flames' goals this offseason. Matt Dumba could be an interesting player to take a shot on. While his offense is down at this point of his career, he would still be an impactful addition because of his high physicality.
