Ducks Rumors: 3 Possible Landing Spots for Frank Vatrano

Anaheim Ducks forward Frank Vatrano generated a lot of interest at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline. It was understandable, as he is currently having a career season and would have been a big-time addition to a playoff team's roster. However, the Ducks opted to keep him. Yet, there's an expectation that they will at least listen to offers for him over the summer, so let's discuss three teams who could target him now.

New York Rangers: The New York Rangers were linked to Vatrano leading up to the deadline, and it's likely that they will look at him again this summer. He worked beautifully for them as a rental a few years back, and there's no question that he loved his time there. The match is there, so expect the Blueshirts to kick tires on him.

New York Islanders: The New York Islanders have been connected to Vatrano in the past, with this past deadline being the most recent example. The Islanders need a high-impact sniper in their top six, and Vatrano would provide them with just that if acquired.

Detroit Red Wings: The Detroit Red Wings were linked to Vatrano this season, and they would be wise to try to land him again this offseason. Their forward group could use a scorer who also provides physicality. He would be a notable addition to their middle six if acquired because of it.
