Predators Rumors: 3 Potential Landing Spots for Juuse Saros

Juuse Saros is going to be one of the biggest trade candidates of the 2024 NHL Offseason. The star goaltender generated a lot of interest at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline, but the Nashville Predators elected to keep him due to their placement in the standings. However, with Yaroslav Askarov ready to make the jump, the Preds are expected to listen to offers for Saros this summer. Let's go over three teams that will likely target him now.

New Jersey Devils: The New Jersey Devils tried to land Saros at the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline. It is clear that they need a true elite goaltender, and Saros would give them that. Their poor season in 2023-24 has been due to their bad goaltending, so their biggest priority is improving at the position.

Los Angeles Kings: The Los Angeles Kings tried to add a star goalie at the deadline, but Linus Ullmark reportedly blocked a trade there. As a result, it is clear that they want an upgrade between the pipes, and Saros would give them just that. Bringing in a starter will be an even bigger priority if Cam Talbot decides to test the market.

Ottawa Senators: The Ottawa Senators thought they found their answer between the pipes when they signed Joonas Korpisalo. Unfortunately for them, Korpisalo has struggled immensely this season. They will be looking to add a goalie this summer, and it's known that they were in on Saros at the deadline. Thus, they will likely be in the mix this offseason.
