Jets Rumors: 3 Potential Landing Spots for Laurent Brossoit

The goalie market heading into the offseason isn't the strongest. While this is the case, Laurent Brossoit is an interesting player to watch, as he had a strong season as the Winnipeg Jets' backup. Now, he is due for a bit of a raise this summer. These three clubs could give him just that.

Winnipeg Jets: When noting that Brossoit was quite solid for the Jets this season, it would not be shocking if they tried to bring him back this summer. In 23 appearances for the Jets in 2023-24, he had a 15-5-3 record, a .927 SV%, and a 2.00 GAA. Why shouldn't they try to bring him back after a year like that?

Toronto Maple Leafs: The Toronto Maple Leafs need to add another goalie this offseason. As a result, Brossoit has come up as a potential target for the Leafs. He would form a solid tandem with Joseph Woll and could work well as their 1B.

Los Angeles Kings: The Los Angeles Kings are another team to watch when it comes to Brossoit. Cam Talbot is a free agent, and it is not set in stone that he will be brought back. If the Kings don't want to give a lot to land a big-name goalie on the trade market, Brossoit could be a nice addition to their goaltending group.
