Injury Update On Maple Leafs' Stolarz

Anthony Stolarz, Toronto Maple Leafs
The Toronto Maple Leafs are likely going to be without their go-to goalie Anthony Stolarz for Games 3 and 4 of the second round against the Florida Panthers. Head coach Craig Berube doubts that Stolarz will be travelling to Florida with the team, but has also yet to see the team's starter today ahead of the team travelling.

Stolarz was knocked out of the first game of the series against the Panthers after Sam Bennett contacted his head when making a move to the net with the puck. He was taken to the hospital. Joseph Woll finished that game and helped his team to a win and then followed that up by winning his first start of the 2025 postseason in Game 2.

There may still be a chance that Stolarz heads to Florida at a later date, but for now it appears like Woll will be the man in net for the Maple Leafs as they try to take a 3-0 series lead.

Stolarz went 21-8-3 with a 2.14 GAA, .926 SV%, and four shutouts in the regular season before posting a 4-2 record with a 2.19 GAA and .901 SV% in the playoffs. Woll would be a great option for many teams to have as he went 27-14-1 with a 2.73 GAA, .909 SV%, and one shutout in the regular season. He has held his team in the series so far, so the Maple Leafs hope that continues.
