Rangers Rumors: 3 Potential Offseason Suitors For K'Andre Miller
New York Rangers defenseman K'Andre Miller is one of the top trade candidates in the NHL as we head closer to the summer. The Rangers are listening to offers for the left-shot defenseman, and there is a real chance he finds a new home this offseason because of it.
Due to this, let's go over three teams who could end up targeting Miller this offseason.
Detroit Red Wings
The Red Wings need to improve their blueline this offseason if they hope to finally take that next step and become a playoff team again. The left side of their defense, in particular, could use some serious help, and acquiring Miller would give them just that. When looking at their roster, he would offer them a notable upgrade over Ben Chiarot on their second pairing.
Los Angeles Kings
The Kings could be a club to watch when it comes to the Miller sweepstakes. It is no secret that the left side could use a boost, and this will especially be true if they lose Vladislav Gavrikov through free agency this summer. If the Kings traded for Miller, he would slot very nicely in their top four and would be a clear option for their penalty kill.
Calgary Flames
The Flames also stand out as a possible suitor for Miller. When looking at the left side of their defense, it is clear that they should be looking to upgrade it. Bringing in a blueliner like Miller would be significant for them, as he would instantly become their top left-shot defenseman.
