Colorado Avalanche Re-Sign Parker Kelly To Multi-Year Deal

The Colorado Avalanche have announced that they have signed forward Parker Kelly to a four-year contract extension. According to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, Kelly will be making $1.7 million per season with his new deal.

Seeing the Avalanche keep Kelly around is understandable, as the 26-year-old forward was a nice part of their bottom six this past season. In 80 games during the 2024-25 campaign, he scored eight goals and recorded new career highs with 11 assists and 19 points. He also made an impact with his physical style of play, as he recorded 161 hits.

While Kelly is a big-time star, it is still significant that the Avalanche were able to get him signed to this new contract. He has blossomed into a solid part of their lineup, and he will continue to be for quite some time.

Kelly has appeared in 257 career games over four NHL season split between the Ottawa Senators and Avalanche, where he has recorded 25 goals, 29 assists, 54 points, and a minus-21 rating.
