NHL Rumors: 3 Potential Landing Spots For Luke Kunin

Luke Kunin is one of the top unrestricted free agent (UFA) forwards who are still looking for their new home. When noting that he is a hard-nosed forward who can play both down the middle and on the wing, it seems like only a matter of time before he gets signed.

Because of this, let's go over three teams who could look to sign Kunin before the season is here.

Utah Mammoth

The Mammoth could be a team that targets Kunin this off-season. It is no secret that one of their goals is to be a tougher team to play against, and bringing in Kunin would help things on that front. When looking at their roster, he could be a nice fit on their fourth line and would also offer them another option for their penalty kill.

Chicago Blackhawks

The Blackhawks have plenty of cap space to work with, so they could be a team to watch when it comes to Kunin. When looking at their group, there is no question that their bottom six could use some improvement, so signing Kunin to a short-term deal could make a lot of sense for them.

Anaheim Ducks

The Ducks have had a busy off-season, but it is fair to say that they could still use another bottom-six forward as they look to take that next step. Thus, they could be a team to keep an eye on when it comes to Kunin. He would upgrade their fourth line, whether he plays down the middle or on the wing.
