NHL Rumors: 3 Potential Free-Agent Destinations For Robby Fabbri
Robby Fabbri is one of the most notable unrestricted free agents (UFAs) still available for the taking. This comes after he recorded eight goals and 16 points in 44 games with the Anaheim Ducks this past season.
While Fabbri had a shaky 2024-25 season, his past success certainly could lead to a team giving him a chance on at least a professional tryout (PTO) before the start of training camp. Due to this, let's discuss three potential free-agent destinations for him.
San Jose Sharks
When looking at the Sharks' roster, it is fair to argue that they could use a bit more forward depth. Due to this, they stand out as a team that could buy low on a player like Fabbri. He could slot nicely in their bottom six if signed, and he would also give them another veteran to help mentor their younger players if signed.
Colorado Avalanche
The Avalanche could be an interesting landing spot for a player like Fabbri. It is clear that they could use more secondary offensive production in their bottom six, and Fabbri could provide them with just that if he bounced back. Thus, he could be an interesting player for them to take a chance on, whether that is through a cheap one-year deal or PTO.
Tampa Bay Lightning
The Lightning could make sense as a suitor for Fabbri, as they could use a bit more forward depth. If they brought him in, he would offer them another option to work with for their bottom six, which certainly would not be a bad thing for the Bolts.
