Ottawa Senators Unveil Fiery New Jerseys For Upcoming Season

Ottawa Senators forward Tim Stutzle celebrates goal during 2025 game.

The Ottawa Senators have revealed a third jersey that returns the club to a primarily red look for 2025-26.

Unveiled at media day at Canadian Tire Centre, the sweater features black and gold trim, the classic Centurion crest, and Easter eggs tying directly to the National Capital region. Senators icon Chris Phillips modeled the new threads as the team confirmed the third jersey will be worn 13 times this season, debuting Oct. 16 at home against the Seattle Kraken.

Beyond the fresh palette, the jersey leans into the city of Ottawa’s identity.

A Peace Tower mark and a Canadian flag sit on the back, while subtle texturing and sheen in the gold accents give the crest and numbering extra pop under arena lights. Team president and CEO Cyril Leeder called the design distinctive and purposefully Ottawa, noting the goal was to deliver a primarily red-and-gold look with local symbolism.

It nods to the club’s red primaries worn from 1999 to 2020, updated with modern detailing.
